Jacob Enger

Elder
Jacob Enger is originally from the Grand Valley, although he moved to Oklahoma as a kid with his family. Brought up in a godly home, Jacob came to trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in middle school. Upon graduating high school in 2003, he moved back to Grand Junction to attend Mesa State College. Since that time he has called the Grand Valley home and currently works as a plant operator in the gas and oil industry.
It was here in Grand Junction that he met his bride Heather.  Their wedding ceremony in 2012, officiated by Pastor Vaughn, was the first gathering in the current Heritage Church facility. In 2015 God blessed Jacob and Heather with their daughter Riley, and again in 2017 with their son Elias. As a family they enjoy the outdoors together, especially camping and hiking.
It was in God’s providence that Jacob and Heather first came to Heritage Church in 2011. Since then, Jacob has been blessed to serve his church family in various ways, and by God’s grace has developed and grown in the desire to lead and teach as an elder.
