Psalm 105

Main Idea: The faithfulness of God in the past should move the believer’s soul into a confident and devoted praise of God in the present.

The 6 curtain calls of Psalm 105...
1. God’s faithfulness revealed by praise (vv. 1-6).
2. God’s faithfulness revealed to the patriarchs by promise (vv. 7-15).
3. God’s faithfulness revealed to Joseph by providence (vv. 16-22).
4. God’s faithfulness revealed to Israel in Egypt by protection. (vv. 23-36).
5. God’s faithfulness revealed to Israel in Exodus by provision (vv. 31-41).
6. God’s faithfulness revealed to Israel in conquest by promise (vv. 42-45).

Living What We Learn:

  • We ought to be a people who responds to the Lord with praise.

  • We ought to be a people who obey God in faith.

  • We out to be a people who genuinely trust God.
