Evangelism and the Glory of the King
Psalm 96

Main Idea: The glory of the King should be the chief motivation for evangelizing the world.
1. The glory of the King should drive believers into a relentless pursuit of all people (vv. 1-3).
2. The glory of the King should fuel God’s people in that pursuit (vv. 4-6).
3. The glory of the King should shape the very pursuit of His increased worship (vv. 7-9).
4. The glory of the King is a resounding apologetic that He alone is worthy of all praise (vv. 10-13).

Living What We Learn:

  • Where does one tap into this motivation? Where does one sit to bask in the rays of His glory?

  • What does a church passionate for God’s glory look like?

  • What do families passionate for God’s glory look like?
