We believe children are a gift from God and are of great value to our church family. Jesus demonstrated the value of children when He rebuked His disciples who were attempting to keep them from being brought to Him (Mark 10:13-16). We believe children can serve the church in real and practical ways even at their young age.
In teaching and training them in Scripture, it is our hope and prayer that they will grow up to be men and women of God who will be used of God for His purpose and glory. Our ministry to children is established to help parents in their responsibility to “train a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). We also have a heart for children from un-churched families, and strive to be a source for their Bible training and encouragement.
In addition to Bible memory and teaching, we incorporate music and games into our children’s ministry.
To work alongside parents to teach the Word of God to the next generation. We strive to do this in a clear, creative, and encouraging way that will reveal God for who He really is and call them to trust in Christ as their personal Savior.
Sunday Morning 9:00 a.m. Sunday School:
- Toddler (Ages 2 - 3) Generations of Grace
- Pre K / K (Ages 4-6) Generations of Grace
- Elementary (Grades 1 - 5) Generations of Grace
Our Sunday School hour for children teaches through Generations of Grace. Generations of Grace is a biblically-based, God-centered curriculum designed so that children 2 years old through 6th grade study through the Bible (Old Testament historical books, the life of Christ and lessons from Acts and Revelation) up to three times. It is a unified curriculum, in that children in each age group learn from the same passage of Scripture in a way that is age appropriate. This enables families to discuss one passage together each week, reinforcing the lesson that children have learned.
Generations of Grace is truly based on God's Word, not just simplistic moral lessons extrapolated from God's Word. It is designed to magnify God by studying His character in the pages of Scripture. Children can better understand who God is and how they are to respond to Him by studying how His redemptive plan has unfolded and how He has used men to accomplish His purposes.
Sunday Morning 10:00 a.m. Children's Church
- Toddler (Ages 2 - 3) The Gospel Project
- PreK/K (Ages 4 - Kindergarten) The Gospel Project
The Gospel Project for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through "The Gospel Project for Kids", kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story - God’s story of redemption.
